Even if it Kills Me by Dorothy Joan Harris
All Melanie wants is for everything to be perfect. Melanie has a sister named Katie who is the total opposite of herself. Melanie is clean, organized, and calm. Katie is dirty, unorganized, and yells a lot. Melanie's mom is always telling her that she wishes Katie was more like Melanie. At school Melanie has one friend, their only friends because lockers are close and they have no other friends. Melanie's neighbor Dan is her only real friend but they don't talk at school because she's scared of what people will say. I wonder why Melanie wants/likes everything so perfect?
A Window in the Door by Madeleine L'engle
A Window in the Door is the second book about the Murry family. Meg is still getting picked on and having a hard time fitting in. Her mother Mrs. Murry is a scientist and in this book she is trying to prove the existence of farandolae by studying mitochondria. Their father Mr. Murry went to Washington D.C. for a few business day. Also Charles Wallace has always been realistic. So that's pretty much what happened so far.
